Decorah, Iowa (08/12/19) – For the eighth time in 2019, Tyler Bruening returned to Victory Lane on Friday night in his Skyline Motorsports No. 16 Bennett Explosives/ Bruening Rock Products/ Capital Race Car/ Clements Racing Engine Late Model. His latest triumph came at Iowa’s Marshalltown Speedway.

“Our team had a solid weekend, where we were again able to show a lot of speed,” Bruening commented. “We were experimenting with some different stuff at 300 Raceway to get ready for the upcoming Yankee Dirt Track Classic. I was very pleased with how the car responded. We’re focused on winning that race for the third time later this month.”

Tyler Bruening visited 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) on Wednesday night. Piloting his Bruening Rock Products No. 16 Super Late Model entry against a field of 18 entries, Tyler passed five cars in his heat race to register a runner-up finish. Starting the 25-lap feature in the fifth position, Bruening advanced to a fourth-place finish behind Jeremiah Hurst, John Emerson, and Andy Eckrich.

On Friday evening at Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, Iowa) for the Miller Lite Dirty 30, Bruening locked his spot into the main event with an 8-lap heat race victory. Rolling off the feature grid eighth, Tyler wheeled his way to the front and overtook John Emerson after a multi-lap battle to secure his eighth win of the season. Pocketing $1,500 for his winning performance, Bruening outran Darrell Defrance, Curtis Glover, Jeremiah Hurst, and Darin Duffy to the line.
