Allegations in the form of a question. I'm totally not offended, I'm amused. Let me give you an example of the type of "questions" you're asking........."So pieman, are you still doing gay porn?". You see this insinuates that you do gay porn, even though you probably don't. But I'd ask that question if my intention was to insinuate something false about you, even though I have no proof that you do gay porn. I'd do this only to be a smart ass, or in an attempt to cause harm to your reputation. Asking you to answer a potentially false question about yourself would further this attempt at causing harm to your reputation. So if you're going to make allegations, at least back up your phony questions with facts. If you're accusing my business of something, then you should have facts, names, dates, etc. to back up your accusations/allegations/phony questions, etc. So.......please enlighten us all pieman.

You obviously didn't take the time to look up the definition of "allegation". You can make one in the form of a stupid a** question...I would tell you to prove what you are alleging or be prepared for a slander lawsuit you dumb a**...

Dude, Your an idiot. All the series have always allowed blueprinting. What do you think they do when they rebuild them. It amazes me how freakin stupid some people can be.

Sirs,
I am sure that when you called the FASTRAK office for a rule clarification you did not fully explain yourself or question.
Blueprinting is legal----Blueprinting a new engine is what is not permitted
Blueprinting as a word is not promoted by the series but that is an entire different subject
You are questioning the Hendren's ability to stay straight in a very competitive market-------
and although it is you right to question any action ----to do it on a public forum in a manner that insinuates fowl play with no correct facts to back it up-- could and should be considerd slander.
There are many authorized builders that cannot afford to push the legal limits of dimension or procedure for any reason and Hendren's is among that group.
there is too much to lose and too little to gain by pushing to the last ounce of dimension.
I have teched many of the Hendren prepared engines and never found a dimension out of spec
you can call me and if you like and I can give all the reasons that i trust and respect the work from Hendren's----(you need to call because I can only type about 20 wpm)

Stockcar,
I guess since most of you woud not know about this JJ should be real proud of this ;
JJ / StockCar got kicked off Speedtalk for a couple pretty nasty posts and a nasty pm that the moderator / owner picked up on.
Nice to see a site owner that will stick to thier guns on posting policies and proper respect and etiquette.
Steve H,
Sorry to be a bother to you or your family, I certainly did not mean any disrespect to your dad. I think he was a great guy and even though I had differing opinions than he did, that did not mean I did not respect him. As far as meeting him and talking to him on the phone sorry about the misunderstanding, pretty much like you not remembering talking to me about your brothers aluminum tanks.
As far as the illegal Fastrak engine in question, that was recently DQ'd with an illegal cam in it, I am sure anybody could have installed that cam and re-sealed the engine. I am sure further investigation will reveal the truth. I know Steve is way smarter than to do something like that.
It is not that hard to angle mill a 62-64 cc head and get it into the 50's and then down into the 40s if you know what you are doing. Yea, I put new seats in them and yes I cut into the intake seat to get them below 50cc's but what is so hard about that ? With an aftermarket valve that takes up another 2cc and an intake that takes up 1.5cc it is not that hard to get into the 40's on cc's if you know what you are doing. The real trick is getting the intake valve to 18* so the ports really pick up.
SJ Dave,
I never claimed to know more that you and don't really care. I thought you might learn something about the dirt chassis you said you knew so much about, and since you knew the guys at VC so well they might tell you that they don't build all of he dirt cars that get sold as VC cars. If you think that you need to take a closer look at Billy Moyers' stuff next time you get a chance. I am pretty sure you have never seen a car similar to the 2 cars I built headers for because they are prototypes for Crate racing.
Your claims about folks disagreeing with me on Speedtalk are fine, at least there engine builders support thier statements with facts and claims of what their engines made. Like I said on there and on here, back in the day we worked our asses off to have some of the fastest most powerful engines in the 2-BBL world, I had to because I was pretty much a nobody in a sea of BIG Time engine builders.
Folks always ask about if something was legal or not ??? I guess it is legal if it passes tech right???
Our stuff was never called illegal in tech, I can say that I was asked not to bring something back a time or two but it was not called illegal. Lots of times rules were made because of things we built better than the rest and other times the mods I made went unnoticed.
4mers,
For those folks of you that chose to call me a liar or BS'er...just remember that there are plenty of 604's out there running 6800-7200 and staying together...
All you gotta do is ask yourself how they are doing it? Or better yet go ask them and see what they say???
I see posts on boards on a regular basis asking how does a 602 beat a 604 and how does a 602 run 6800rpms, and how does one 604 sound like it is a Super??? There are answers to all of those questions if you look in the right places.
As for my website being 4 years old and my shop location, lets just say anybody that wants to or needs to find me does.

I tend to find it difficult to know who you're talking to on the phone, or in person, if that person doesn't identify themselves.

Thanks, further investigation already revealed the truth :-)

Oh that explains it....... The only reason I was questioning that claim in the first place is just due to how thin the deck surface of a 604 head is, especially where the fire ring is. Actually....I technically didn't question it, I just said you must have done some welding. It just didn't seem to me like a 604 head could be rolled over far enough, since the bottom side of the deck surface is only about .150" thick and hollow underneath (unlike an aluminum 23deg. race head) , and the deck surface on the top side is only about .300" thick and completely hollow underneath (unlike an aluminum 23 deg. race head that is normally .400"-.500" thick and reenforced). So I just thought that it would be difficult to keep a head gasket in a head that was angle milled to 48.5ccs (just a guess since you said 45ccs first. So I just added the 3.5cc's you disclosed above).
I know that a 64cc Iron Eagle head that's been rolled over .350"+ and angle milled below 40cc's will actually result in a 19 degree valve angle with the seats unchanged and the valve guides in stock location. So an 18 degree valve angle on a 604 head is just awesome! Like I said before, I would imagine it took some welding.....

Are these parts the main reason those Fastrack crate motors wont pass in the north east & a few other locations?
You can't blame businesses and intelligent individuals for staying away from these boards when some people run their mouths. Shame, we all end up losing knowledge.

LOL!!!! It's Pieman again....... I seam to remember being very nice, writing in plain English, stating facts, and "bashing" no one. In fact I even made several very, very generous cash offers to ANYONE willing to back up the claims of a certain member on my dyno. Wait correction, I offered a generous amount of of money to anyone who could even back up 1/2 of what this certain member claimed on any of the product being sold and advertised on these boards. Still no takers as of today :-( So please Pieman, post anything that you think I've said that was not a fact, or could be considered "bashing". You always amuse me :-)

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Dyno state his shop is close to Gresham Speedway? I can have my roommate stop over the next time they are up there racing and pick up anything you guys need.
Does anybody know if Billy Teegarden Jr. still has a shop in Somerset Kentucky? Cause I'm sure I could call him and ask him if he knows any guys running his stuff. Last time I seen him was when Billy Sr. had Corbin Speedway (I think it was Corbin, that was probably 16 years ago or more, I still got a picture of about 12 of us standing in victory lane one night when I was a kid...)
Tracks visited...
New Smyrna Speedway
Citrus County Speedway
Auburndale Speedway
